GVA Cawley is a privately held real estate services firm led by owner/principals John Conger and Tom Sutherland. The firm's founder, well-known real estate executive Bill Cawley, sold the firm March 31, 2008 to principals John Conger and Tom Sutherland. Together, Conger and Sutherland along with Kenneth Reese, Sr. Managing Director of Consulting Services direct the GVA Cawley's executive committee.

John C. Conger joined GVA Cawley Realty Services as President in 1996. After 12 years of heading the business, John purchased the company from Bill Cawley in early 2008. Under John's leadership, GVA Cawley has become one of Dallas' largest management and leasing companies with over 5 million square feet of management and/or leasing assignments.

Tom L Sutherland joined GVA Cawley in 2005, and partnered with John Conger in 2008 to purchase GVA Cawley. As Managing Principal of Brokerage Services, he is a hard-working professional and leader, bringing integrity and strong commitment to excellence to every challenge. Tom has completed nearly 7M SF of transactions ranging from corporate HQ relocations to large build-to-suits, to single tenant lease assignments across the globe.
